The city
Toronto Flower Market
Toronto's best-known flower market is a recent one. The Toronto Flower Market was started in May 2013 by Natasa Kajganic, now Natasa Hansen, as the city's first outdoor flower market, inspired by markets such as London's Columbia Road and Amsterdam's Bloemenmarkt. It focuses on Ontario-grown flowers and plants, connecting local growers and florists with the public, and runs one Saturday a month from May to October. It has changed location several times, including a move to Queen Street East in 2015; in 2026 it is held at 1001 Queen Street West, outside CAMH, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with free admission.
